Bureau Veritas CPS UK, softlines, laboratory is based in Derbyshire England.

As part of Bureau Veritas CPS, we are able to provide our clients, which include many of the UK’s major retailers, corporate wear manufacturers and the UK Ministry of Defence, direct access to comprehensive global services.  

Bureau Veritas CPS (softlines) specialises in the testing of textiles, promotional material, fashion accessories, jewellery, sunglasses, personal protective equipment, upholstery fabrics and household textiles including oven glove testing. 

Our areas of expertise include retail textile testing (base and bulk), flammability, ultra violet protection factor, fibre composition and microscopy.  We are also a certified body for personal protective equipment (P.P.E.)

Our team has experience in a wide range of relevant subjects - from pure science through to garment production, design and pattern grading.  We are representatives on several committees of various standards bodies and textile organisations.  Our staff are always willing to offer technical support and advice upon request.
