Training Courses

The training courses run by Bureau Veriutas CPS (Softlines) UK are often run in conjunction with retailers who wish to give their employees, or suppliers, an insight into testing and how to interpret test reports.

 

Delegates are given the opportunity to observe actual testing processes within the training course schedule.  The company also runs tailored courses which are specific to the requirements of individual companies.

 

Introduction to textile testing

 

Learn the basics of textile testing on this user friendly one day course.

Coffee & introductions

11:15 – 12:30 p.m.

Introduction to colour fastness and stability

12:30 – 1:00 p.m.

Introduction to physical testing – knitted and woven fabrics.

1:00 – 1:30 p.m.

Buffet lunch

1:30 – 2:00 p.m.

Laboratory Processes

2:00 – 2:20 p.m.

Textile chemistry (including explanations of fibre composition testing and legal obligations).

2:20 – 2:40 p.m.

Flammability

2:40 – 3:00 p.m.

Questions and answers

3:00 p.m.
